Any legal process is complex. Add to this a different language and culture and the complexity increases. As an English speaking Spanish lawyer – Abogada – I remove the complexity to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible for you, all while protecting your interests.
Working for international clients, I deal exclusively with Spanish Law so you get the help and answers you need whether you’re buying a property, starting a business or facing a Spanish legal challenge.

More InfoLitigation, Civil or Criminal, commercial or personal.
More InfoStarting a new business, incorporating an existing one and fiscal matters.
More InfoThis gives me the authority to act and sign on your behalf.
More InfoYou wouldn’t purchase a property in your own country without making all the necessary checks and searches. This is just as important in Spain: do not pay a deposit or sign anything until you have spoken to an independent lawyer.
Buying in Spain is complicated enough – the laws and protection offered to buyers may differ greatly to those of your country, which is why I offer a full hand-holding service and deal with all the parties involved to make sure you fully understand what you’re buying, and under what conditions.
Aside from an in-depth property check, I can also offer additional services. For example, opening a Spanish Bank account or changing the utilities ownership once the property is under your name.
I’ll be your main point of contact, protecting your interests and keeping you fully updated every step of the way. I’ll also deal with all third parties on your behalf. From the moment you decide to buy a property, right through to advising on purchase taxes, attending the notary meetings and everything else in between to see it through to a successful completion – you’ll gain a tailor-made service.

Family issues are always delicate ones. Whether it be a Will or probate, divorce or separation. Be rest assured that your personal circumstances will be treated in a considerate manner.
Forward planning for your best interests.
It’s always recommended that anyone with assets here in Spain prepare a Will. The laws are different here to your own country so it’s best to plan ahead. I’m here to help you.
Finding the best solution for you.
A breakdown in a relationship is an emotional and difficult experience. After taking instruction from you, analysing all the relevant documents and aspects of the case I aim to guide you through all the options available and whenever possible negotiate a mutual agreement between both parties.
If an agreement can’t be reached, we can then discuss the alternative dispute resolution options and legal avenues.
Whether the litigation is of a Civil or Criminal nature, concerning a commercial or personal issue, I can help you in negotiating an out-of-court settlement or via the Courts.
I offer a wide range of business services – whether you’re looking to start a new business or incorporate an existing one. You’ll gain help and advice on what type of company to form, depending on the activity you have planned.
Working closely with my team, we can also help with fiscal matters from tax affairs through to accounting, employment and commercial contracts, intellectual property and obtaining the right licences for you to begin trading.

The majority of my clients grant me Power of Attorney. This gives me the authority to act and sign on your behalf in many matters – saving you time, money and travel while ensuring the process runs smoothly.
Poderes Especiales’ – this is the most common form of Power of Attorney where you specify which powers are granted. I will only act for you under your instructions and written confirmation, giving you the confidence for me to proceed with your legal affairs here in Spain.
This is done in front of Spanish notary or at the Spanish consulate in your country.
Whatever your legal requirement, in Spain you’ll need to follow a significantly different process – all in another language and culture. I’ll guide and advise you every step of the way so you can make informed choices and proceed with your legal matters with confidence and security.
Your legal matters are important to you – and me. Which is why ‘Service & Communication’ are at the heart of my service. I’ll always keep you informed of progress and developments in a clear, understandable manner – no legal jargon. And because your needs are unique, I offer bespoke services and solutions to meet your specific requirements, treated with integrity and confidentiality.
When it comes to advancing your case, we can avoid time-consuming meetings or unnecessary travel as your transaction can be dealt with by assigning me as your Power of Attorney. We can also ensure regular contact through video conferencing, post, email and of course telephone.
This works for many of my regular clients. But of course, you’re always welcome to meet me at my office – whatever is best for you. Please contact me to make an appointment.

Once I’ve gathered all the relevant information, I’ll provide a no-obligation fee estimate as well as advise you on what any potential third party fees and taxes (if relevant) are likely to be.
For most of my standard services such as conveyancing and Wills I offer fixed fees, so you know exactly what it’s going to cost from the outset.
